Ready, Set, Up Goes The Curtain On Your Home!

Here are a few tips when your house is on the market:

• Play soft jazz or classical music throughout the house creates a tranquil setting for potential buyers both upstairs and downstairs

• All lights on and window treatments open to let natural light in

Kitchen

• Wipe all counters with bleach wipes to give surfaces a sparkle

• Place dishes in dishwasher. Run dishwasher regularly to eliminate odors

• Take trash out regularly. Spray trash can with Lysol or other disinfectant

• Hide trash cans under cabinet

• Fresh baked Toll House cookies give house a homey smell

• Sweep/Swiffer all floor surfaces before showings

Family Room/Living Room

• Sweep carpets

• Dust surfaces with feather duster

• Clean doors and window with Windex

Bathrooms

• Squeegee shower doors

• Wipe toilets & sinks daily with bleach wipes

• Place items used under vanity in baskets

• Edit products in shower or bathtub to 1 or 2

• Place hand soap in decorative dispenser

• Hide trash can under vanity

Bedrooms

• Launder all bed linens

• Make bed daily

• Clothes in hamper

• If diapers are in a nursery, remove daily and spray with disinfectant
